Description:
Excellent 145' route of ledges and pockets. Climb(no pro) to a ledge below roof, traverse left onto face and head up to a deep pocket where you will place your first piece. Continue up to large crack, step left and continue to second crack. Stepping left again will finish the route on a nice slab to the anchors. Walk off or rap.

Very enjoyable route to the top of Elk. Bring up your belayer to the first ledge where you can sink your biggest hex to protect you on the traverse to the first pocket. Protection is primarily in the cracks above, so long slings help reduce rope drag. There is a nice dike below the anchors to stand and bring your second up, or rap down to Grandma's Porch to do the other routes on the Southwest face.
