Description:
Toward the right end of the wall, starts the same as a 5.9 crack that climbs up into a right facing dihedral before a roof, but this route bails left onto the face of the basalt column. The start is a little chossy, but once you get onto the face of the column there are lots of little pockets and small edges. A fun climb and well protected (the first bolt is a button head, but your on easy ground and the 2nd bolt is an easy 6 foot traverse to the left).

fun in the wind
the day my lil bro and i did this was wicked windy! pulling up slack to clip made a huuge bowshape out of the rope. my hair was blowing straight out to the side. good fun climb.

Ascent Note
Luckily, I went out to johns wall alone hoping to find someone out there. Sure enough, there was a couple from CO who let me jump on their rope. Steep climbing on small pockets with good edges. very nice warm up
