Description:

Strenuous liebacks and crimps low give way to easier pockets and nubbins to the anchors. Most stick clip the first bolt and toprope through much of the crux. Appian Way is located on the right side of the Picnic Lunch Wall and is the first sport route to the right of Honey Pot.

4 out of 5 stars Not an easy 12a

Super strenuous and oddly technical low. Climbing to the final lieback block at about 15 feet was a struggle and the climbing from the first to the third bolts is definitely not a gimme either. The final few bolts of climbing are significantly easier, allowing you to relax a bit and enjoy the views. Great, engaging climbing for someone working through the 12's.
