Description:
Backside of Middle Sunset - Hike past Frigid Air and through the talus field. When come out, the first boulder uphill has several routes on it. this is the first route you come to and obvious to identify from the steep flake.Start with an underclinging boulder problem to gain the juggy flake. follow it up and right through harder moves to a bolt. From here traverse left on crimps to gain the right leaning, flaring, arm swallowing hand crack.
Variation 2. From the starting boulder problem move left and gain the vertical crack system.
Variation 3. From the bolt, it may be possible to work right (following the natural line of the steep flake). It is unknown if this variation has seen an ascent.

Not my proudest moment.
Tried the third variation. Had my ass handed to me. Felt tricky switching between main crack and smaller horizontal out right. Be careful of fall as there is potential to swing into one of the rising boulders beneath the line. Lots of lichen in top section but very easy and protects well.
