Description:
Windy Point is the top most cliff visible from the parking area. Best approached from the South up the Frog Pond trail. BESIDE THE POINT 5.10+ 80 M From the top of a large greenish boulder at the base of the SW face of Windy Pt. (about 30 up and left of No Exit), climb a sharp crack through somewhat fractured rock (first 20 gear protected). Rock improves for the upper half, and overall the route is very good, lots of variety and consistently good and challenging climbing (lots of cruxes but with big rests between). 2 ring anchors are on the lower edge of the upper W ridge/arete (a runout 80 scramble up the ar๊te is possible to the top joins On Point for the final headwall).Descent Options:
Lower from top anchors or scramble to the top (80' run-out 5.4)
