About Bozoo Rocks:

Please note: access to this area is a privilege that you should not take for granted. Most of the climbing is on private land. Act accordingly by being considerate people you meet there, removing your trash, controlling your dogs, etc. As you go up the main trail you will pass a boundary line marked by the Army Corp. of Engineers about 100 yds below the main cliff line. After you pass this point you are a guest on private property, the owner of which has graciously allowed climbing to continue on his land! Please tread lightly.

This is primarily a trad climbing area. All routes can be toproped fairly easily. There has been a recent explosion in high quality bouldering, so bring that crash pad, as well! Word to new routers: Remember, this is a traditional area and bolts placed next to natural protection may be removed.

Not all of the rangers you will meet here are friendly to climbers, and the wise climber will take the after-crank party elsewhere... there is a no alcohol policy in the park (where the parking area is.) This area's access should not be taken for granted!

With that said... bring your rack and enjoy the short quality leads and top ropes on bullet sandstone that this area offers. Or just bring a spotter and your shoes for quality bouldering. Some of the bouldering is within the park boundries. Please note that the park staff has begun to notice the increased traffic at this area and for the most part do not understand climbing. Please be very courteous if approached by park personnel or rangers, and stay out during hunting season!
