yea, she had a string of losers. One guy she dated graduated college and immediately started working at the go-kart track. He was still working there when she broke up with him.
So she was jealous that he had a cool job?

Go Kart Track? Fuck yeah.

I got to drive a go-kart wearing drunk goggles. Did pretty well... Only hit two cones.

At least it wasn't fruit cake. Funny story my friend told me tonight. He is at the inlaws and they take turns opening presents. His wife opens perfume, kids get some cool video games he gets a fruitcake. Round 2 more cool stuff for the family he gets another fruit cake. This happened 4 times. He comes out with 4 fruitcakes! Said it was like charlie brown on halloween with the rock!! I howled
Some people like fruit cake.

Nobody will recognize me with the new ghey sweater. That way I can work a different angle for stories.

Youre not gonna get more stories, even with the new ghey sweater...I have loyal friends.

How about waterboarding?

I didn't vote for him.
Nobody did

That's correct. All I said was "who died and made you king" and he ran with it.
Well first he lied and claimed that Nathan made him king.
Then you ratted him out to chossy and chossmacaque changed the thread title to mention King Nothing and ever since then he's claimed to be king of the bet in order to get Nathan's goat.
I gave my goat to Rebecca's dad so I could marry her.

Sucks to be Snoop.

So that is how it is done in kanukistan.

I hope my secret sweet spot is ready to go when we get home. Things were going nicely before we left, but then it warmed up. Hopefully the rednecks and kids won't go down there and knock everything down before it gets big enough to start climbing.
sounds like it is a poor secret if everyone goes to knock it down.
Secret as far as nobody else climbs there.

Which really isn't true either since it is in a guide book with one shitty ice route that rarely forms. Nobody had the vision to tap the steep walls I'm grid bolting.

Oh come on, I'm sure you will do okay with that big fancy camera, if in fact you ever take it out climbing. When you are doing the photo shoots you will be to busy snapping photos to be climbing so it really won't be taking your camera out climbing. As the photog you will get to keep the money you get from the magazines. I get the publicity and sponsorships.

I would rather be climbing than taking photos. Nice try though

Heavy snow or freezing rain.

It snowed most of the way home. 2/3 of the way it was double track but we were still able to do about 100 for most of it.

Driving in the snow is all about keeping distance from the other cars. You spin out and do a 720 without hitting anythin, you high five your passenger and put the car back in gear.

It gave us some weird results for the route from here to St.Anne. It said one way was quiet a bit further, but starting at a different spot it gave a different answer for the time. It ends up being pretty much the same either way we go. I think.
Every time I use google or yahoo to map something the time is usually longer than my actual driving time. Perhaps they take into account the posted maximum speed limit and calculate times that way?
they use something along the lines of the following.

small roads that are only named 25 mph
state roads 35 mph
highways 55 mph

so, they don't take into account places where you have tons of stoplights or where you have good speed limits on small roads.
They don't count ferry time either.

Anyways, we had to return the DVD player yesterday. Our TV is 26 years old. It is so old that it can't choose its own channels. So, the vcr or dvd player needs a tuner. When we were returning the TV, we decided to get a TV with a DVD included. We spent WAY more on ourselves this year then we should have.

Today, we will be rearranging our furniture with the new TV and cabinet. We may end up having to return the TV at this point though. The audio output isn't working with my receiver. (The output is digital, and I need the analog red and white output. I will probably have to read a little on the interweb and go to radio shack.)
Huh? Why does it need a tuner? You could have run the DVD through the VCR. I would run my PS2 to my old TV that was ancient.
