6'5" about 185 and skinny as hell. It sucks when you're this tall, cuz I have no weight to lose!

As you can guess, I rely on my reach a LOT, and I'm pretty good if the route isn't seriously overhung.

I'm 6'5" 140 lbs and after one month of steady climbing I can climb V9 and 5.13b/c. I also run the mile in 36 seconds. Oh, and I built the pyramids.

I'm 5" 8", weigh 140 lbs, work out at the YMCA quite regularly, climb at the rockgym at least once a week, climb outdoors at least once a week when weather permits, and take perhaps 3 or 4 week long out of state climbing trips a year. I often find myself thinking that if I could lose 5 lbs, I could climb better. Deep down I know that the weight thing is all in my head, and how strong I am mentally focused on a particular day is what really affects my climbing. I have long arms and long legs, good balance and technique, but believe there's always room for improvement. Power moves almost always knock me off the rock, and I don't even attempt sit-starts. I am a trad climber at heart. I love that multi-pitch!

I'm 5.6 120 lbs, and i think that's more of an advantage than not, I can jump for the move on the route you tall freaks set, and I can set stuff you'll never be able to get crunched up enough to do. And outside my little gremlin fingers can use things you big boys can't even see.

6'1" 160 lbs. Dead zero ape factor. Definitely better on reachy problems - I've had people get quite upset at me when I deadpoint their dynos. Slowly improving on steeper stuff (mostly in the gym - hard to find easyish steep climbing around Brisbane).

....what 'cha call easyish? 21, 22? ....there should be enough for you here.... the newly established Celestial Wall on Tibro has some awesome bolted stuff 21-23.... especially for reachy people like you are... try Redcliffs too.... how long are you here?

Height: UUhhhhhhhhh. . .
Weight: 107 lbs (super skinny, not anarexic)
-10 ape index.

I can climb 5.9 consistently, and can usually do 5.10 after a couple tries,

My hardest onsight/redpoint/flash was a 5.10c.

Hey!!! :!: :!: :!: :D

I am 5'10" and about 140 or so. I am pretty strong and my fingers are pretty strong as well but im not as tall as a bunch of my climbing budds but I can find my way around most stuff by dynos and moves like that. I am another skinny and cut climber when im climbing or flexing but when not I look ok cut.

The question was what body type, not how tall you are and how much you weigh. THere is a difference. For those who don't know, there are three different body types. You can be healthy with any of the three, but certain body types may be limiting factors in certain activities.

The 3 types are:

Ectomorph - thin and lean

Endomorph - round and thick

Mesomorph - strong and muscular

Height has nothing to do with what body type you are. Your healthful weight is determined by the combination of your helght and body type.

I am somewhere between an ectomorph and a mesomorph, btw.

6', 200lbs. I have a good strength to weight ratio. I am not sure on my index (don't know how to measure it). My weakness is slopers. While my technique and footwork are improving, I am desperately trying to drop some weight (10lbs or so) to make it easier on myself. My reach is pretty good as is my core strength.

I am a mesomorph

I'm 5'9" and 135 lbs.

I'm built like a cyclist more than a climber though. My legs are very powerful and probably weigh more than they need to for climbing. I've got great lungs and very low body fat. I don't have the upper body strength so I climb with technique, it works out well for me. I've got great resistance to lactic acid and don't get winded easily. Usually when it comes to it, I can make powerful moves becuase of my low body weight, but I'm not a powerful climber.

If I strove to be the best in the world, I'd try to lose some off the legs and put it on my upper body. I'd rather drop you up some mountain road than climb 5.14 though.

5'5" - 135 lbs...
Have to dyno where the taller guys are just able to reach... but that's ok... Since I started climbing, I (surprise, surprise) started to eat less and lost ~5lbs... 8^)
Luckily, I have strong fingers (10+ yrs of being a piano player (not anymore tho) help...)

i always seem to bring back old topics... o well, i need to get my ranking up,

im around 5 feet

87-90 pounds

i have a hard time with reachy moves, but as people at the gym tell me, i have a better weight to strength ratio, so i guess i can move and pull myself a lot easier.

I'm a mesomorph with endomorph tendencies. I'm pretty muscular-looking for a woman, although upper body strength is still my weak point. 5'6" around 133 pounds. Ape index +1.

Im short and thin. Its great because my muscles get stronger but they don't get a whole bunch bigger so less weight to pack!
But inturn I am best at bouldering I think. Because I can throw my self on the hard cruxy- crux (the crux of a boulder... which is like all the most cruxy moves therefor becoming cruxy crux lol) moves and not get worn down because I am light.
