Well rob...I was unaware you were in the automotive repair business. What's it gonna take to do the front brakes on a 95 VW? Thanks for the review of Rose Ledges...Nate was it?...unfortunately...10.a is just a touch out of reach at the moment. I will deff. check the place out though. Back to being a student...2...more...weeks. Jason

In reply to: Frigid Air Buttress, 7-pitch 5.9 with a chimney that comes as close to the experience of being born as naturally possible (wise folks climb it on the outside...), and then an amazing headwall (Larry, awesome job doing that, thanks!!!) 29 years later, the memory is still sharp...a long day coming down to ten seconds. Glad you had fun!
In reply to: Prince of Darkness, 6-pitch 10c shooting up on a straight black wall, although too repetitive a climbing for my total liking Some folks have called it a "vertical edgemill." I recall sore feet. At least that final crux was a nice change of pace.
In reply to: That much for the first week. The second one is starting badly with rain, wind and cold. Sounds like you're getting full value for your trip, though. Good luck with the weeks ahead. cheers, L

I want to go a-Gunkin... but I need to stay local this weekend. Rumney is a possibility. Is P-way climbable or just bouldering? I've seen lots about it for a bouldering destination...

Jen Pway should be pretty decent.. cept for the usual stuff that takes a while to dry.. like Ride the lightning.. but unless you wanna do a scary v6 then no worries right? personally i think it's a much better destination for bouldering than routes but... thats me.. blair woods also has some quality bouldering and i think a higher concentration of easy/moderates than say boulder natural i'd be up for either if Grape doesnt come up for rumney you should come to CR tonight or tomorrow.. u said u wanted to climb there ps.. people should check the last post in the Noob thread.. joel out did himself again

Too much work, not enough play Makes for a quiet rc.com day. Not quite light late enough for outdoor evening climbing yet.... I'll be at Metro tonight. Weekend climbing... survey says... Da Gunks. Jeremy twisted my arm (didn't take much).

Jumping on the band wagon! Building a 2 panel, seperatly addjustable wall this weekend in my spare room. I was not kind enough to ask my land lord...I am just going to sink some concrete expansion anchors in his wall and start building. Anyone have a hammer drill? Side note, explored the woodsie area around the place lastnight for some ledges. Found one decent one 10 min walk from apt. However, beware the ticks are out in full force! Jake I might hit up CR tonight depending on how work goes, large push for drawing releases this month to finish up design phase of the program so if I can go is all dependant on when and if reviewers get things done today so I can make needed corrections.

I'll be at MR tonight, if anyone wants to swing by. Also, wish me luck as I head out west on Friday. My first time hitting the Big Rocks. (Multi day, thousands, not hundreds of feet). GO

Hi Jake. I can't make it today, but soon enough I will be able to. I work in Framingham right on 135, so CR is pretty close by. Let me know when you plan to go again and I'll come by after work. Chris
