if can't get russians or for some reason don't like them (??) these are the aiders to have. available in 6 and 7 step sizes i use four aiders with two on each daisy, a six step on the left and a seven step on the right. super comfy to stand in, speader bar makes them easy to move up. bomber construction, you will pass them on to your kids no matter how many walls you do.

essential piece of gear for the ultimate jugging system (petzl frog). i use mine regularly in aid and industrial ropped access work. i've jugged up the side of a 27 story building with this and i wouldn't have handled it with any other system.

i keep about a dozen of these in my industrial ropped access kit. they were the first lockers i bought for use in anchors and toropes while climbing, i traded them out of my rack for lighter and autolocking biners. these things are tough as hell and i've with total confidence put two (one on my rapell line, one on my safety line attached to building davits) of them between me and a 27 story ground fall. graded four due to weight and that i'm not crazy about screwgates.

this thing just an overall pain in the butt and i've replaced its use in my ropped access kit by the gri-gri which petzl now has certified for industrial work. its only upside is the anti-panic which the gri-gri lacks.
