I brought 2 #3's and 1 #4 and (like most people) I had to be lowered about 3/4 the way up to retrieve some gear and still ended up walking my #4 up about 30 ft (I lost the onsight because of this). The crack is beautiful though, mostly fists for me and some off-width at the top.

got burned out once protecting the beginning and had to come down. Then steamed right up it. Good wide crack fun!

low crux is fun & takes good small cams ... upper section took a lot of leapfrogging. #8 purple metolius is too small for most of it, it was tipped out everywhere if it fit at all. #3 BD mandatory, #4 BD/#4 friend would be better. seems like at least 75 feet of nothing smaller than #3 BD. fiddling with the wrong sized gear was much more unnerving than the climbing which is actually pretty solid.

I learned two things from this climb. 1 - bring enough draws so you can clip any fixed gear you want, 2 - if you've got one large cam left and the crack stays large, walk it up.

Strenuous and great! Truly a battle with the offwidth if you aren't an offwidth freak. No particularly hard moves, but requires endurance.

Fun times with only one blue friend
