Ascent Notes for: Zig (aka The Layback) - 5.9 Average Rating : 3.55/5

This was fun climb. As said before, one polished section. Very dirty while we were there, and warm in the afternoon with the sun on us.

...layback with glassy feet. the crux was short, but also close to the ground.

Requires strong core power to layback through the slick as glass middle. I had to hangdog it.

Fun climb with a section of, you guessed it, slick feet. Makes Bloody Crack at Looking Glass look well textured. A few stems, finger locks and jams add to the fun. Top was dirty.

I really enjoyed this climb and found the crux section to be very thought provoking and core intensive.

There is about a 3'x3' section that is as smooth as glass... not hard once you figure it out but hard to onsight.

Climbed this one a long time ago. I was happy to get back on it but blew the alzheimers onsight at the crux with a slipped foot on polished stone.

I think the crux is about 12 feet up where the rock gets real polished. There is a cam wedged at the top in a flake. Tried to free it, but it's pretty stuck. I guess that's why someone left it

man, super fun. tricky to find feet!
