Easy Slab, but we shuttled 6 people up 2 pitches and a little more. I went up in the middle or the group to handle the hanging belay station where we had people on the 2nd pitch while I belayed others up the 1st. Our 60m ropes was a little short to run two people up (one in the middle and one at the end) so the last 15ft or so we had two people simultaneous climbing on one rope. We reached the top of Enchanted Rock at sunset. It was fun and beautiful, the perfect end to a day or climbing..

The bolts are easily spaced. The top could have some quite difficult variations, I opted for moving left to avoid the large slighly overhanging headwall.

I like this rock, it is different granit than higher in the sandias. I led the 1st pitch but traversed left and then up one of the crack systems that lead to the upper face (set a belay at 200ft). Jim followed but went on lead ~25ft below me to traverse right and then up to get back on route. I led the last pitch past the normal 2nd belay to the anchor chains at the top. I thought it was fun. An 55m and 30m rap tooks us back to our packx.

I started on the face to the right of the large crack that dissects the crag, moved left into the top of the crack, and then up to the bottom of the alcove (good rock, medium to small pro). I was going to attempt another route up the S (slalom) shaped crack which dissects the crag but it started to rain; so, I bailed to the tree 2/3rds the way up on the right. I repelled down but my rope got stuck at the top; so, I reverse repelled (hoisting my way) back up in the rain to un-snag my rope. Great fun, surviving diversity!!!
Oct 5th - completed the climb Redpoint, Started left of main offwidth crack straight up to the small overhang, then right into the offwidth, then up and left finishing the top of the route. A better way would be to go straight over the overhang instead of messing with the offwidth crack due to the awkward temparary helmet jam hold used when negotiating the offwidth.

Jim led the 1st pitch and I led the second (a 5.7 undercling). This route was good but not as consistant in grade as Lost Ledge.

I seconded the route an lead the last (short/easy) pitch. It was harder than I expected at this level. Very good rock and protection.

Classic (5.7+). As I wss lowered down the climb I though no way. I started at the bottem of an alcove 30ft up from the saddle above the Sentinal. After climbing Lost Ledge, Jim and I explored this rock for routes.

I loved this rock. I only completed 1.5 out of 2 pitches (plus the down climbing off half of the second pitch) but it was great; this climb was right at my edge for leading ability right now. My partner and I will go back to this rock again.
