2 out of 5 stars not for the budding 5.6 leader

P1 is a 5.6 according to the gray dick. I thought it was very sand bagged for a 5.6. First roof is well protected, second roof is a hard pull, moves up to the pedestal are unprotected for several feet. The traverse was pumpy, but well protected. The rock was really rotten up through the pedestal.

3 out of 5 stars It was getting dark

So it was hard to see all the holds. Felt hard, I was tired.

3 out of 5 stars don't get sucked into the corner!

I was jammed in there and had a hard time placing gear and getting out. There is a much easier way to move though the arching corner. Thin/slabby feet on the traverse. Lot's of fun.

4 out of 5 stars Did p2 this time

Actually we did it in one pitch, through the 5.9 roof. A ton of fun, there are two pins through the roof. Very interesting moves up to the roof.

But finished it. My first time leading Retribution...so much fun. It was a proud lead for me.

3 out of 5 stars Very soft for a 7 (p1)

Other than the semi cruxy start, this is very enjoyable (soft) climb. Gear is great throughout. I think this would make a nice climb for someone breaking into the 7's.
