Leadable. Try the direct start (5.8), begin on Cripple's Crack, work up and left to move around the corner and then up the rounded arete. Takes no. 5, 7, 8 BD stoppers, .3 camalot, .5 tricam. Nice.

Cripple's Crack

Here's a classic Carderock "5.10c," probably 5.11b. The gear is all solid, but don't try to lead it onsight. Figure out the gear placements on rap. Takes .5 and 1 tricams, BD 5-6 stoppers (2) and TCUs.

This is probably 5.9 and definitely harder than the nearby "Shipley's" crack (5.9). The first gear placement is 20 feet up and it's not very solid.
