first trad of the year
bring the big stuff and lots of it. This was the first trad line of the year and the right side was wet. It got wetter the closer you got to the bolts. Set it up for a top rope which the rest of the party thought was the best line of the day. Last in the group did a TR ascent with a headlamp.

hard in one spot
Definitely a nice climb. Good height and some interesting changes in the rock as you go. Crux is definitely at the second bolt but after that you just sail right up.

Easiest face climb of the 3
Falcon Guide lists this as a 5.8+. What is a 5.8...plus? Of the 3 face climbs left of Jasper's, this is the easiest. Saw a bunch of ants about midway up, so watch your fingers!

Easy for grade
Easy to protect lead, even easier on top rope. 3 star rating in Falcon Guide, but we thought some of the adjacent face climbs were more fun.
