We did this in early April, and the approach to Main Ledge was damn scary. We went for what looked like the easiest route, and it turned out to be a fifth class waterfall.

Got caught on this one in bad weather, high wind, and two feet of snow on the ground with my approach shoes still at the base of the cliff. My first mini epic.

Big jugs, dynamic movements, and a lieback crack. A very beautiful climb. I like to link it up with the crux to camel; the pro just seems better.

This route is especially great when you climb a third pitch above it (Letterman, 5.6), and then link it up with Flakes to Fresno, a 5.8 fist crack on the east summit block.

I love this route! It's full of reachy moves and thin holds. The only real rest you get is just before the crux. You can through in about four pieces above the bolts , but the climbing is pretty relaxed up there.

Climbed Hedges, Ledges, and Wedges right before this route. HLW is so dirty that the slanty holds of Omegaman were quite welcome. Of course, while in the process of the 5.9 traverse the property owner snuck up and told me to come down immediately. I convinced him to let me finish the route. Apparently Bishop's Quarry is closed to climbers now, so be careful.
