5 out of 5 stars not for RRG climbers

GREAT on TR. Ever-so-slightly slabby with balancy reaches between face crimps and sidepulls/gastons/fingerlocks in the seam. The sort of route that makes most RRG climbers cry.

3 out of 5 stars Not that good

Not very fun. Took one fall on my first attempt, will probably never go back to redpoint.

3 out of 5 stars Dyklings?

According to my guidebook, this is the description for Make Way for Dyklings, 10a. Two-Finger Limit moves left after the first bolt.

5 out of 5 stars Summersville = too much chalk

Fell once when I followed the chalk right, after falling I went straight up instead and found it much easier. Lesson of the day: everything is covered in chalk at Summersville, whether it's good or not. Follow your head, rather than someone else's hands.

5 out of 5 stars Personal Pronoun

This can be two very different climbs--a surprisingly pumpy 5.9 that humbles many who thought they were finally done falling on 9's, or a relaxed climb that gets a little blood flowing for harder routes. The difference between the two is whether you make a conscious effort to stay on your legs. There are enough jugs that it's tempting to crank your way through, but with the slight overhang you'll pump out disappointingly quickly if you do much of that.

5 out of 5 stars Fun throw

I get the climbs on this wall mixed up, but I think this is the one with the long left-hand throw from a right-hand undercling. There are few climbs in the Gorge that make me as happy as this one does when I stick that move.
