Lots of variety on this climb - crack, face, slab. The crux polished slab on P4 seems more like 5.10b than its offical 5.10a rating. A truly great route.

Followed the route in November 2003 and flailed at the first roof. Must have been a high-gravity day. Led Wadsworth cleanly in March 2004 by staying focused on balance. High quality route -- among the best 10's at Cactus Cliff.

A fun, but short route. The route may deserve the 5.10d rating if you make the final moves and clip the anchors at waist height. The climb is well protected.

Ascent Note

An old-school bolted route -- bring small gear and expect runouts until the second bolt. SOLID 10b with a thin friction crux at the 3rd bolt. This route sees many TRs, but few leads. If it seems easy, you're either very good or off route.

Ascent Note

I almost blew it at the crux by trying to go up and right of the bolt. After trying to figure out the impossible-looking moves a few times, I stepped down to re-evaluate the funky-looking layback to the left. Trust your feet, balance on the sloping ledge, and lay it over to the left -- it goes just fine. A fun route.

The climb is accessable at low tide with a traverse on water-polished rock. The crux move is probably a little easier for taller climbers. A fun route.
