4 out of 5 stars about that pinch

Was doing standard with a few folks getting their first leads. The first pitch was great, I was belaying up the third when he fell. He fell immediately after the old pin as he moved right because as he pulled on the small (shaky) triangular pinch on the otherwise clean slabby move, it ripped out. The chunk that came out ended up being about a thirty pound block. No one was injured but I would hesitate to call that particular way of doing the climb a 5.6 anymore. What is left if a sloping pocket that makes the move much harder.

4 out of 5 stars oh my god honey, dont get eaten by the rack monster!

so basically you could do this route with doubles of an entire rack or just 9 #1 cams, find a spot you want to put gear and make it fit. if you get sucked in to all the possibilities you will get pumped out trying to place. the stances are good but this is dead vertical most of the way so dont waste time, plug and chug. if you are feeling good near the top give any interested tourists a show at the hero jug , ya know, one arm hangs, or even plank it out, this thing is bomber. Oh and this climb has an argument for racking off the harness; if you stick with the gear sling just dont get cams/nuts stuck while you are pulling the crux.

4 out of 5 stars did you just come up the rock?

nope we just bough all this gear and sit on the rocks here, we dont actually climb anything.
This little splitter is fun but too short! The locks dont get any better and neither does the view. Just plug and chug medium aliens and small cams to the top.

4 out of 5 stars redpointed, tough move

perfect finger crack for the first 30 feet, amazing gear, .75 c4s and down, good tricams pink to brown, crux move is tough for shorter people (me) but a good match off the crimp and good feet out right make it happen for the move up to the jug.

4 out of 5 stars sweet first lead

sewed it up. lots of medium aliens (blue to red), a few tricams (pink to brown) microstoppers (# 4and# 6) opposed at the thin finish from a great stance, but an awesome climb.
