About Owens River Gorge:

One of the best sport climbing destinations in the US. Camp on BLM land a short drive from the Gorge, accessible by the Gorge road. Routes preceded by a '~' are new (since June 2000), and not listed in the current yellow/green cover guidebook (Owens River Gorge Climbs, 9th edition, by Marty Lewis). The 10th Ed. has come out now and it is great!!!
Nearest town or city: Bishop
Directions: North of Bishop, Ca. Right on Gorge Road onto paved private road (LA Dept. of Water & Power). There are white signs that are marked, but most have faded away.
