About Stumbling Blocks:

This rock is one of my favorite sport rocks to climb in the LA area. It is the first bolted rock you see as you pass the large water pool when walking up stream from the Planet of the Aps Wall. It hosts three quality routes: 5.8, 5.10a and 5.10c, each 5 to 7 bolts high. The 5.8 is on the stream side and starts under a tree from large boulders. The two bolted 5.10s are around the corner to the left of the 5.8. You got to climb them!
Approach: Take the Gorge Trail from the Visitor's Center and complete the 5.0 Traverse on the left side of the small lake (rock pool) to get back to the climbing area.
Approach Time: 20 minutes from parking area
