Description:

This gully starts out with easy ice (WI1/2) which if you pitch it out is a couple hundred feet until you get to an obvious steep pillar. This is the crux pitch that goes at WI4/5 depending on conditions. After that it's some walking to another pitch of about WI3. 3 out of 5 stars Long Day

Soloed up to the base of the pillar. Super soft. Buddy lead the pillar sans pack. Instead of spending a bunch of time for him to lower down and carry it back up I tried to carry his and my pack. WI4/5 with 2 packs sucks! Especially cleaning screws, so pumped. Decided to go to the top. Not recommended unless you really feel like an alpine day. Descent not very fun and long.
