Description:

Interesting finger cracks on small downstream face. Small smooth foot jibs on adjacent face. (ropeburn, June 10 2003) The 5.10c version of this - according to the VA, WV, and MD guidebook by Eric Hörst - is to "climb the right-facing corner using only handholds on the left face, while limiting your feet only to holds on the right face of the corner."

4 out of 5 stars Fun route

challenging due to the slippery nature of the bottom 4 feet of any Carderock route

0 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

a great warm up for butterfly, or merves nerves, flutterby is also a really nice intro to dihedreal climbing. Some funky positioning is possible.
