Description:

(from the Falcon Guide) 5.0 The easiest way to the bases of the climbs south of The Amphitheater. From the parking lot, hike south along the clifftop. After about 500 feet an obvious loose chute is encountered. Instead of decending here, go a few feet farther south (a bit right) and down a cleaner gully. Eventually reach a badly eroded, very loose trough and rappel (or downclimb). Leaving a fixed rope is not a bad idea.

My GOD! We used this to get to "KGB" and back. The upper half wan't too bad till you get to the scree pile. But the lower half, below the scree, was a muddy, wet, dripping, mini stream (probably because of the 1.25 inches of rain the night before). Yeah, then we made it an epic and didn't leave till it was well on its way to DARK. Ha ha ha... :)

This route is short, wet, and fun to climb.
