| Great climbing all types. You'll find Sitting Bear, Table Rock, Hawksbill, The Amplitheatre, the NC Wall, Shortoff, and Wiseman's view all within the Gorge. All cliffs are owned by the US Forest Service, so follow all their rules. |

| Directions: | 21 miles north of Morganton, 3 miles north of the intersection b/n Hwy 181 & 183 - is the dirt access road. If your going into the Gorge, be sure to pick up Kelley's Guide for specific directions to all areas. |
