Description:

This popular route follows the top of the Snake's Head formation. You can start on the Pizza Face Start which climbs a steep face of a dike with knobs and flakes (5.8X - no pro) or traverse in from the side. One long 200 feet pitch to the notch (lots of trad gear possible here), then another 200 feet to the top of the snakehead and two bolt anchor. To get off, jump onto the boulder to the south and scramble off. F.A. Rose, et al. (date?)

5 out of 5 stars First climb

This was one of my first climbs. Now it is access to the top of Quartz for other routes or setting a rappel.
