Description:
One of the first routes of its kind. First ascent in 1979 by Duane and Terry. In between S-wall and bourbon street is a crack which arches right towards the top. Brownish orange water streak runs below it. Start and stay in the water streak... it is unprotected and thin until a bolt 25 ft up, then some more unprotected climbing until you reach the crack 40ft up. Set up belay. Second pitch climbs out the crack to the right then surmounts the bulge on thin edges.

Blessed by Saints Duane and Terry (Baptism FA 1979)
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound
that saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found
was blind, but now I see
'Twas Chris who led the runout slab
which brought him to the seam
Traversing in from S-wall's start
did work just like a dream
From his belay, 'twas mine to lead
the crack, pro did provide
But arching right it did proceed
to split and then subside
From the seam, 'twas a left foot on the bulge
and crimps, one each per side
A step on up and matching feet
made the options stick, or ride
Once to the crack, which waited o'er
to accept pro and relieve
How precious was that final ramp
on which to take my leave
Thro' many dangers, toils and snares
I had already come
'Tis Grace had brought me safe thus far
and Grace that led me home
that saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found
was blind, but now I see
'Twas Chris who led the runout slab
which brought him to the seam
Traversing in from S-wall's start
did work just like a dream
From his belay, 'twas mine to lead
the crack, pro did provide
But arching right it did proceed
to split and then subside
From the seam, 'twas a left foot on the bulge

to accept pro and relieve
How precious was that final ramp
on which to take my leave
Thro' many dangers, toils and snares

'Tis Grace had brought me safe thus far
and Grace that led me home

Ascent Note
Sean led the first pitch, and I the second. Mostly slab climbing with a wide crack for gear. Eventually undercling the bulge and keep working your feet higher. Power over the bulge on small crimps and lean left for the softball. I was baptised on a nice sunday morning.
