best rope-end biner in existence. Clips like buttah, plays nice with the rope, and you can stuff a lot of stuff in this biner because of the funky shape. Sure the major-axis strength is only 21kn, but when are you ever gonna generate that kind of force? In short, never.
Oh, and it's cheap AND lightweight, what more do you want?

Simple, foolproof tube. The keeper cable is solidly attached, so it won't move around on you or get turned around (i.e. Trango pyramid) You can't go wrong with this one, it works smoothly, locks off great every time, does double ropes with ease. If you're using smaller ropes (<10mm) then get a Grigri or an tube with the little "v" on the side for more friction.

Very comfortable all-day harness, plenty of gear loops for hauling gear. Definately more of a big-wall/trad type harness. My biggest complaint is that the waist loop is so stiff in the back that it makes it almost impossible to fold up and stuff in a backpack, I end up wearing my harness on the approach just so I won't have to wrestle the damn thing into my bag. In theory the gear loops are just the right diameter to slip into a carabiners notch and get stuck. In practice it has never happened though.

Good pants that can take a beating at the crag. They also survive 18mph encounters with the asphalt (like bike wrecks) with only superficial damage.
gusseted crotch and knees allow for good flexibility. The pockets are also pretty low profile, so they won't make themselves a nuisance when you're putting on your harness.
Wish they had a little nylon or other synthetic fiber in them to help them dry out a little quicker. Other than that, I have no complaints.

It's cheap and lightweight, but it's also pretty fricking small. If you need to get several people up through your anchor point or make a hanging belay you'd probably appreciate a larger biner. The screwgate dosen't leave much room for rope or webbing to fit through.
