Description:
About 100’ Right of The Cow is a series of left facing corners and open books. This is the start to both “Perhaps”, a Grade IV, 5.10 A5 route, and “The Grack” routes: Left, Center, Right, and Marginal. To the right of the corners and fairly low to the ground is a prominent ceiling. The Grack, Marginal route, begins under the right side of the ceiling. Climb 3rd class up and slightly left to ledge with a small tree. The fun begins here: Rope up and traverse left under the ceiling for 10’. Gain the face above the ceiling to a bolt, then 20’ up and right to a second bolt. Proceed up 10’-15’ to one more bolt. Following this is 40’ more of delicate face and smearing to the belay ledge. From here follow a flake system up and right for 30’, then traverse right 15’ and up to a bolt. After 15’ more, rejoin the flake system and follow it to the top. Bring extra slings to minimize rope drag. This climb is a Grade II, 5.9.

fun but runout, and all friction climbing, heady, but not too hard. The climb is mostly bolt protected, but there are some gear placements and some pitons that may or may not be good.
