Good route the 5.9 is getting off the ground. It's like a boulder problem so you probably won't any gear until you are past this part. Once you get past the first hard moves it becomes a very nice 5.7 flake crack with good gear.

I did the climb Saturday with my son it is an excellent climb, with reasonable gear. Start at a small pine and go straight up and just keep going belay and go some more. When you get to the ramp corner system follow it up and around and break for the top. Probably the best views of any climb in North Carolina!!

Good route with enough protection. Where the bolts are spaced there is gear available. The pegs are in pretty good shape. First pitch is definitely harder but the second pitch is worthwhile.

Possibly the best, and hardest 5.7 on the east coast. Protection is very good but you will do yourself a big favor if you set up a second belay at the base of the roof.

Very good route with great gear. From the belay you can go right over the roof at 5.9 which adds a very nice touch. Definitely NOT a beginner route.
