4 out of 5 stars Cool sequence

Lower crux sequence is not obvious, flakes are very cool. Seems harder than its neighboor to the left by a letter grade or so.

4 out of 5 stars Snow, wind and freezing temps

San Diego to San Diego in a day (17 h total roundtrip). ~7:50 car2car from the portal in near winter conditions at the top. The MR gulley was windy and cold and took some extra time to climb compared to drier conditions. Snow was falling at a moderate rate at times, but visibility was still OK. Top chute was icy and somewhat difficult to get into from the notch (crampons).

5 out of 5 stars Rubicold

Hauling winds and cold temps - exciting. Use single slings for pieces next to corners and it goes fine in one pitch.

5 out of 5 stars Cold and Windy

Very nice route, will challenge your technique and endurance. No need for large gear for the anchor as there is a tree on the top, just bring a couple of slings.
