Nothing special about this route, other than the fact that it's one of the easier climbs in the Black Corridor. The first two bolts are fairly spaced out so be careful.

Be careful down low
I thought this route was pretty stout for a 5.9. There are some tricky, reachy moved below the second bolt so stick-clip if you're unsure. The reoute itself is nothing special, but it one of the easier routes in the Black Corridor.

Top Rope ascent by:
Great view at the top
Be sure to turn around at the anchors and take in the beautiful view of Red Wing. The rock, as with the rest of Barn Bluff, is loose. Belayers should think about wearing a helmet.

Crux at the anchors
This is a fun roof climb that gets progressively harder. The moves down low are easy but the crux is where the 10C grade is earned. Belayers need to be mindful of the amount of slack in the system. I've seen a climber deck due to too much slack.

Difficult start
This was my first outdoor lead. The start in the crack is tricky. The finish is a bit run out but the climbing gets easier near the top.

Perfect warm up
This is one of 3 super easy 5.6s that are all right next to each other. They are all long routes with great exposure. The crowds at this wall can get thick, however. To make it worse, space at the base of the routes is limited. This is a perfect route for the newb leader or anyone looking for a fun and easy warmup.
