Description:

Starts on a the obvious diagonal ramp on the west face below the col into the Mulvey Basin, close to the start of Space Buttress. Continues up cracks to the to the "Big Step" (three pitches), then up the black-lichened crest (two pitches) to an easy scramble up a wide ridge to the top (two pitches). The black-lichened crest has two variations; 1) left side close to the big corner, appears looser (5.7), and 2) right side of big loose flake and straight up past grassy ledges and old pins (5.8)

3 out of 5 stars loose, has not seen much traffic

this was pretty fun but had not seen much traffic and was dirty and loose. The lower pitches on the ramp are not fun. Then the climbing gets good and two long 5.7ish pitches with fun moves. The rock is covered in black lichen and I had to dig out many placements. Some sections were somewhat run out and loose. I found one fixed pin. Views/setting are great.
