Description:

THIS ROUTE IS OFTEN CLOSED MAY-SEPTEMBER FOR FALCON NESTING. PLEASE CHECK CLOSURE INFO WHEN YOU ARE THERE, IT WILL BE POSTED. This moderate central wall route is a nice way to explore this wall. Start on face just left of big chimney, 40' right of lover's chimney. Both pitches have short .7 OW sections. p2, move belay 30' left and ascend huge right facing book. can be done in 2 pitches w/ 60m rope. I'll put .8 so I don't sandbag anyone, but it's been called .7 as well.

A great route to do when the wall opens in early fall but before the season ends! Best climbed with a 70 m rope if you want to make 2 pitches out of it. First pitch is loooong and super high quality. Second pitch has some challenging OW that can be done traditional grovel-and-thrutch style or, if brave, stemmed over (insecure feeling!); bring microcams to protect it on the opposing wall!
