Description:
One of the most classic and coveted leads. Start about 30 meters right of High Plains Drifter in a large dihedral. Short pitch to the top of the corner, then up a steep flake system to an overhang. Pull the ceiling (hard 5.11)at a small right facing corner then move right to a fixed belay. REST!! Move up and right across the super exposed face to another small corner then up to a perch under the giant roof. Swing outleft and pull the roof at a bulge (crux~big falls!!) then make scary and unprotected 5.10+ moves up left to the knife blade flake. Up the semi detached flake to the top. "Testing the Pancake" is optional.
