Description:

P1: (5.6) Find the "little corner" about 100yds. after you turn left at the gully. Very distinctive left facing shallow crack/dihedral, quite "Yosemite-ish". Climb it to a ledge, then belay here, or go a little higher to another ledge. P2: (5.6) Continue up discontinuous cracks in the larger dihedral, to a wild step left over a gap, continue up and belay where convenient, slinging rhodos and placing good gear. P3: (5.6) Keep climbing even higher in the huge corner to where you can see a big ledge on the left with a sizable pine tree. Belay here, or if you have a 60m, combine this pitch with P4: (5.5) Continue on up the corner on easier ground to the top. Great starter route to get you acclimated to Shortoff. Classic! This route can be done in two pitches, combine 1 and 2 and combine 3 and 4.

5 out of 5 stars Little Corner

Did it in two pitches (leaving about 20 feet of 2nd/3rd class climbing left).
First pitch seemed trickier.
2nd had some fun moves, but better handholds.

Great visibility. Had a great time - even rigged up a Tyrolean traverse near the top for a little fun. Good weather, and saw some peregrines.

Good route for beginners starting to get a hold on things.
