About Castle Valley:
| This is a classic and historic area of towers and buttresses on perfect Wingate Sandstone. Castleton Tower is the most popular tower in the desert, and one of the 50 Classic Climbs of North America. The Priest and Sister Superior are two more wild towers, and the Convent, Rectory, and Parriot Mesas all have multipitch crack routes. |

| Directions: | From Moab, drive about 20 miles north on River Road(SH 128) to teh turnoff for Castle Valley. Park at Ida Gulch along the road to get to Sister Superior, the Convent, and Parriot Mesa. Find a dirt road heading left towards Castleton Tower to approach Castleton, the Priest, and the Rectory. |
