Description:

The crack to the right of the tree. Far left side of section. Starts in the hole at the bottom of the crack. ( Some people start to the left of the hole to make it easier.) You just follow the crack to the top. Great route to start people on. See picture at top of section...

3 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

Redpoint: 3/24/08 Still dirty.

Second: 12/10/06 Very dirty, especially in the crack- if I were going to spend much time on this route I'd want to bring a brush.

3 out of 5 stars Employ all three techniques to make this climb fun

I really enjoyed this climb as it starts with perfect hand jam into fists up to a nice finger lock with some more jams mixed in between. When it got wide, i bailed right onto the face for some aesthetic face climbing to a fun top out.

3 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

finally bothered to lead this thing: it was my first route at lincoln, on rope-solo, and then I'd followed Beam's lead . . . it was fun, but I wouldn't really agree with it being a "good first trad lead" for somebody, as it tends to be sandy and the pro isn't as straightforward as it looks from the ground.
