Description:

This route is the same as rewritten except it uses the first pitch of "The Great Zot" to start out with. Refer to Rewritten and "Great Zot" for further discussion. This pitch is a well protected crack system that slices trough an overhang (20 feet up the climb). Pull the overhang and jam fingers and hands to access the face above. Once on the face there are plenty of holds and the crack is great for more jams to climb up to the ledge to join the main route.

5 out of 5 stars Classic Route

This is Eldorado Canyon, Colorado. Eldo is known for having very stiff ratings, as many routes were put up as early as 1955! An Eldo 5.6 is unlike any other 5.6 you'll come across in most places.

5 out of 5 stars One of the Best Climbs I have done!

The roof on the first pitch was a lot of fun. Then pretty moderate climbing to the top. It was a great route and a fun lead.

Wow, talk about great exposure. About 40' from the top on the last pitch, looked down. Nothing but air all the way to the bottom. Wheeeee.
