Description:

Begin climbing below the prominent black water streak on the right (east) side of the canyon, just left of the oak tree where the canyon begins to slope downhill into the narrower portion of the canyon. Follow the line of pockets up the shallow groove past 4 bolts. Meander up the face, on excellent rock and wonderful pockets, past 4 bolts as the wall steepens to the bulge. Pull the bulge and move left to the anchor. The 2nd pitch follows the water course to the top, as the angle decreases.

Descent Options:

Rappell the route from chain anchors.

4 out of 5 stars Follow the bolt line

Much easier if you follow the bolt line which meanders just a little bit on pitch 1. Pitch 2 is run out with only 1 bolt but it is very low angle.

3 out of 5 stars Wonderful

Great climbing on excellent rock, with a variety of amazing pockets. Never gets too difficult, but not really sport bolted. Requires exploration to locate the best pockets and sequence as the route steepens to the final bulge.
