First outdoor 12 completion for me
Fun creative climbing in middle 20 ft. Start and end much easier. Counter to the guide by Cater there are no anchor bolts at the top- natural anchors only.

Fun yogic moves in the middle
My first top rope finish of a 5.11 outdoors. Nice techniques, especially in the middle part of the route.

Don't forget to use the wall behind you
It's easy to try and climb this with just the holds in front of you, but the chimney is there whenever you need it.

First 5.10 sport lead, Thanks, Arno!
Did this as part of Arno Ilgner's excellent Rock Warrior's way class, and he of course would not tell me the grade of this one before I'd finally sent it, with one 15 foot fall before I got back on and finished it. I actually enjoyed that big fall and the chance to use the falling techniques we'd just learned. Good route, regardless of the context.

Fun, shoulda onsighted it
I was feeling tired and just starting to feel the effects of what would later turn out to be tendonitis in my left arm, so I hung at every bolt on this one, but was still happy to do all the moves and set it up for the group to top rope.

Great variety of move styles on this one
This route has a bit of everything, which was the main fun of it for me. I broke a hold just above the ledge, but there are plenty of others so it wouldn't change the grade. Last moves towards the anchor bolts were the trickiest to me. I didn't take any falls, but pretty sure I recall taking a few rests on the rope along the way so I'll record this one as a hangdog.

Lakeside fun
My first sport lead in a few months recovering from tendonitis in my left arm. Not a bad route to start the weekend on.

Fun but short
Fun. Due to the slope of the terrain below the start is not as scary or dangerous as it could be, but you'll be glad for a belayer taking slack dilligently for the first few moves. The route is short enough that rope stretch shouldn't be much of a factor on top rope.

P1 Fun, well protected, even wet. P2 wet, lichen covered, run out
Good pro on the first pitch, which was welcome with the wet conditions of the day. Some portions above 15 feet dried out pretty quickly. The belay ledge has grass and plants on one end, home to a small young snake, probably a "brown snake" with pattern variations.
The guide books show Pitch 2 going up or to the right, but that way looked lacking in holds and pro and was covered in lichen which got worse about 20 feet up at the small roof. To the left might have been better, but that was a steady flow of water at the time, so we just top ropped the direct variation from there which is a fun face climb too.
