Description:

As the new guide (Austin Climbing, John Hogge, 2012) suggests, this route is listed as 5.11a and could arguably go as 5.11b -- certainly a stout 5.11a. Follow a straightforward bolt path up this gently overhanging route on excellent rock. Finding good pockets in a sea of deception is the trick. Such is life on Austin limestone. A great route that is destined to see a lot of traffic in the future!

5 out of 5 stars Finally WARMED UP to this route. :-|

beta spoiler: middle of the route, reach high to the 2-finger vertical slot. Don't jam, don't press down on it. Press left, using it as a sidepull as you arc up and left. The route's great, full of holds to sort through.

4 out of 5 stars Sustained

or maybe I was tired at the end of the day? didn't notice a very defined crux, just lots of holds that made it forgiving of mistakes.

This is a great climb, totally worth climbing. A nice crux in the middle of the climb
