ugh
did the first pitch correctly, second pitch was half of sahara, third pitch was ????? wayyy off left to a ledge system, fourth pitch uneventful, fifth and sixth random huge ass traverse left along 5.3ish terrain.
Kinda fun. The mystery stuff I did between this and uneventful was for sure not climber cleaned (had to lieback this flake with my feet skating on solid-looking quartz covered in litter). Good fathers day climb with mum.

Ascent Note
Got absolutely soaked by Thunderstorm. First time climbing wet ! Spooky. Hands, feet, shoes, chalk bag (white bugger bag), underwear, everything was soaking. The crack systems were veritical streams. Finished on The Uneventful, 5.5 roof, all wet. Boy was I happy to see that piton below the roof !

Ascent Note
I found this route to be lots of fun. My partner and I pulled the roof at the start of the second pitch which goes at about 5.8. I think pulling this roof made the route. The upper part of the route was dirty and looked like it was rarely climbed. I would recommend this route if Sahara Terror and other classics have parties on them.

Another one I didn't get around to until my fourth decade as a climber. The third pitch is excellent.

Ascent Note
This route wasn't that good. We made it around the big roof/overlaps, then somehow got onto Sahara Terror. Then back onto the Error, then onto some very vertical (but still 5.7ish) climbing that I don't think I would have liked to do back in 1947. Then back on route at the big 5.0 ledges. So who knows. Just don't screw up. Use your judgement, and go left if given the option after the roofs.
