4 out of 5 stars Broke the curse

After 7 years of struggle, and then 15 years unintended "retirement," I returned to lead climbing and led my first 5.7.

Great climb, but if you want to make it a 2-pitch ascent, don't stop on the first grassy shelf. The ants in the grass are horrible and relentless. There is another good spot about 10 feet above.

4 out of 5 stars Nice Climb, Not the Best for Beginners

The line leading off of Wasp Flake is fairly obvious and begins on some easier rock that leads into a steep slab section. I placed gear to the left before I began climbing this section. The route leads up over a ledge near some trees and follows the rock up to the top.
