Knob Creek - 5.10c

10c is a lie. almost onsighted this thing but the last moves suck!! i went straight up instead of right so i wouldnt swing and it took everything i had, it felt much harder than any 11 i have ever climbed

I didn't like this climb very much. The knobs were cool, the middle section was mediocre, but the topout was not cool. The move was sketchy enough by itself, but there were pebbles and leaves covering the ledge that you have to mantle onto.

get it, "shot?" Knob Creek? Good whisky?

This one spit me off at the last bolt, granted it was getting dark but probably would have anyway - I ended up traversing around right to get to the anchors but am pretty sure I spotted the move . . . looks wild but just do-able. "Exciting finish," says the guidebook. To say the least! From the ground it looks like it gets all slabby up there, which it kind of does, in a steepish sort of way at the end, there. Rad. Killer start, too . . . fun to balance on those knobs.

Great sport route with some interesting moves.

good stuff, climbed it just for the beginning 15 ft. of knob climbing!!!
