At the belay climb steep dikes and cracks directly above the anchor. You'll soon enter the chimney of West Wall, a very steep but well protected 5.8 chimney with a wild overhanging exit around a chock stone.Descent Options:
Rappel from anchors on top of this pitch with a 70m rope. These are the anchors for the second pitch of Nirvana. Rappel that route strait down. 2 raps with a 70m.

steep wild chimney
This was a pretty steep pitch for 5.8. The face climbing below the chimney was wild but well protected and the chimney its self was short and sweet. Small gear can be found all throughout the chimney. The exit on overhanging jugs around the chockstone was nice and exposed. Well worth climbing. The rappel is easy with a 70m rope. Bolted anchors on top of the pitch can allow you to rappel back to Hospital Corner belay or two rappels down Nirvana.
