Description:

Climb the corner/crack from the base of the Rusty Trifle block, then diagonal left to a right-facing corner. Up this to a ledge and belay tree. Surmount the roof on the right and up to the GT ledge. Walk left a bit and climb a right-facing corner up to the top. The gray "Dick" has upgraded this climb to a 5.7 for P1.

5 out of 5 stars Lots of fun

P1 is very different from P2. Both are a lot of fun. P1 feels like it has no distinct crux. P2 is beautiful and airy through the traverse.

5 out of 5 stars P2 is awesome

Such great exposure on the traverse, easy roof pull, nice face climbing. Build a gear anchor, then rap of sixish. A 70 meter will get you to the top of the block at the base of sixish...it's an easy down climb.

4 out of 5 stars great p1 & p2

I led p1. Great pitch with some solid 7 moves. Good gear, but a few spots were a bit difficult to get comfy to place it.

Geoff led p2. Loved the 2 roofs and enjoyed the cruise to the GT.

Myron led p3. Some decent climbing but more of a bushhwack causing Myron to utter "I'm glad I trained at the Gap."
